Illustrations &
Collaborations

Enjoy a collection of illustrations I’ve created for social posts, packaging, prints, campaigns, and sometimes just for fun! I love a challenging illustration project, especially when it involves animals, people, or fruit. There’s always something fun in bringing those subjects to life!

Texas Special "Goldie"

Overview:

Texas Special is a bold new beer concept that celebrates the spirit and charm of the Lone Star State. To give the brand a distinct personality, we introduced Goldie, a vintage-style cowgirl who embodies the beer’s playful, confident, and unmistakably Texan attitude. She serves as the face of the brand across packaging, merch, and future campaigns.

The Team:

CD: Alli French, Alejandro Aguilar Canela, Micky Ogando, Hache Hernandez
Design Lead: Morgan Unroe

Illustrator: Elisabeth Klein

Challenge:

Create an iconic mascot that feels timeless yet fresh; someone who could capture the warmth, wit, and flirtatious edge of Texas Special. The goal was to develop an illustration that nods to classic pin-up Americana while remaining approachable and distinctly Texan in tone and attitude.

Execution:

Drawing inspiration from vintage cowgirl imagery and mid-century beer ads, Goldie was designed as a modern twist on a classic muse. Sitting effortlessly in a frothy pint glass, she radiates confidence and charm through her expressive pose, bright red boots, and cheeky grin. Her look strikes the perfect balance between nostalgic and new, establishing a character that feels right at home as the spirited face of Texas Special.

Shiner Shockwave

Overview:

Strawberry Lemonade Shockwave marked Shiner’s first foray into the fruit-forward shandy space. With its success, the brewery saw an opportunity to expand the lineup into a full “lemonade family” of seasonal beers. The goal was to build on the energy of the original design while creating a strong, recognizable visual system that could carry new flavors for years to come.

The Team:

CD: Alli French
Design Lead: Morgan Unroe

Designer/Illustrator: Elisabeth Klein

Production Designer: Roxanne Ratliff, Kaitlyn Toney

Challenge:

The task was to evolve the established design into a cohesive series that felt both consistent and exciting. Each flavor needed to stand out on shelves with its own unique energy while clearly belonging to the Shockwave family. Balancing bold, juicy flavor cues with Shiner’s classic branding became key to keeping the line feeling fresh yet familiar.

Execution:

I contributed background illustrations and helped develop the layouts and color palettes for the new flavors: Mango Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, and Blue Razz. Building off the original Strawberry Lemonade Shockwave, we refined the template to accommodate new fruit illustrations and adjusted colors to match each flavor’s character, ensuring every can pops individually while still feeling part of the same lineup.

Bad Luck Social

Bad Luck Social

Overview:

Bad Luck Social was a Friday the 13th event hosted by Bakery and Ken during SXSW, blending drinks, flash tattoos, and a tongue-in-cheek “luck reversal” ritual into one immersive experience. The visual direction pulled from classic tattoo culture with a slightly eerie, playful edge. I contributed as an illustrator across the event, helping bring the tattoo-driven identity to life.

The Team:

CD: Micky Ogando
Design Lead: Kaleb Sindac

Illustrator/Designer: Elisabeth Klein, Frida Garcia-Berriochoa

Mechanical Designer: Jamie Kepko

Challenge:

The goal was to create a cohesive visual system that felt authentic to tattoo flash sheets while still carrying a distinct, ownable style for the event. The artwork needed to feel raw and expressive, with an ink bleed quality that mimicked real tattoo transfers, while also working across multiple formats like menus, posters, and tattoo sheets.

Execution:

I illustrated a series of tattoo designs for the event, including pieces like the lucky tiger, tiger paw, fortune teller, and heartbreaker, contributing to roughly half of the final sheet. I also helped design the tattoo sheet itself, leaning into a translucent, layered look that echoes traditional flash sheets. Beyond illustration, I supported the broader design system, ensuring the assets felt cohesive across event materials while maintaining that slightly imperfect, inked-in feel.

Shiner Festbier

This Munich-style lager is a seasonal release I illustrated and designed, inspired by the Bavarian lion-and-shield motifs found on traditional German beers. The look nods to classic Oktoberfest style while giving it Shiner’s own bold, playful twist, just in time for the fall season.
Emerald City

Overview:

Tree Hut launched Enchanted Emerald City, a limited-edition holiday product inspired by the cultural buzz around emerald-themed fantasy worlds. The campaign extended beyond packaging into an interactive experience that blended digital play with real-world activations. I helped shape the visual direction of the campaign, developing the emerald castle environment and defining the vibrant, gem-filled aesthetic that carried across the interactive game, social content, and out-of-home placements.

The Team:

CD: Kerrie Heckel
Design Lead: Kaleb Sindac

Art Director/Designer: Elisabeth Klein,
Frida Garcia-Berriochoa, Bella Borenstein

Copywriter: Elizabeth Roper

Production Designer: Roxanne Ratliff, Kaitlyn Toney

Challenge:

The goal was to create an immersive visual world that felt magical, playful, and instantly recognizable while still aligning with Tree Hut’s brand. The experience needed to translate seamlessly across multiple touchpoints: from mobile gameplay to large-scale outdoor displays; while encouraging audiences to engage with the product in a memorable way. The design also had to evoke the fantasy of an “Emerald City” without relying on an official partnership, making the visual storytelling especially important.

Execution:

I contributed to the creative planning and visual development of the campaign, helping define the overall look and feel of the Emerald City world. This included designing the emerald castle environment and establishing the glowing gem-inspired palette, textures, and whimsical atmosphere used throughout the experience. The visual system was adapted across the interactive mobile game, where users explored the castle and popped gem bubbles; as well as across out-of-home installations and digital placements, creating a cohesive and immersive campaign presence.
